IVT Greenline multiple alarms
Hi, Newbie here needing help. Initial alarm was CT8 & CT9 at 37C heat pump would run for about 5 minutes. Now multiple alarms CT1 through CT11 HP runs for 5 seconds. Any assistance greatly appreciated. There are more alarm displays but have reached maximum permissible.
I have run some checks. The power supply is good, the refrigerant is clear (not yellow) there is considerable pressure in in the refrigerant citcuit, the Ground Loop Pump works when on separate cable.
Question: Should the Ground Loop Pump come on when the Central Heating Pump comes on? Because it doesn't.
@heacol, do you have any insights or thoughts to answer AF1's question?

The ground loop pump must run when the heating is on, it may be a connection problem or the board has failed. You can as a temporary measure try connecting the brine pump to a separate source and then run the heat pump.Posted by: @af1I have run some checks. Thank you Brendon Uys for responding.
Should the Ground Loop Pump (GLP) come on with the other one - i.e. at the same moment?
I didn't think of trying to run the unit when I had the GLP connected to a separate supply - good idea. Should I leave the loom plug disconnected for this test?
The problem I have is that all the alarms now come on almost immediately after the Hot pump starts and lock the unit. Acknowledging the alarms makes no difference.
I could not see how to clear the error log in the manual, do you know please?
If after clearing the alarms the unit works with the GLP on a separate supply, why do you think caused no power to it from te unit?
Hi I was an engineer for ice b4 they went bust that many alarms could possibly be the rego, gt8 and 9 alarms only really an issue once they get 15 degrees apart normally a good service will clean out any magnetite, ice never fitted magnetic filters which all gshp and ashp should have as standard. You can call alto energy basically the ppl from ice who started again without the main director they do a call out service and repair depending where u are in the UK? I'm based Yorkshire and North East
