Share your electricity bills
something to compare to as same ashp but a bit smaller UFH mine is 84m2 and 3 Rads and 3 tower rails in jersey CI
@biketrails, it looks to me as if you're getting a COP of about 4 on the day with the greatest energy consumption (so, I would assume, the coldest day). Does that fit with your overall monthly figures? If so, that seems to me very good indeed.

@biketrials1, those are solid numbers. What heat make and size do you have?

Electricity is cheaper than gas per unit on Jersey at the moment
Very different model to the UK. Only 1 electricity and 1 gas supplier.
Gas is very expensive vs UK.
They have very long hedging on their electricity so relatively little impact on their electricity prices so far. Completely different model to the UK. Lower than our price cap for electricity at the moment.
My partner looked into a job over there recently.
@jeff. yes ours eletric is cheaper but i stiil dont think its cheap enough 😀 🤣 🤣 . we have a traiff of just like UK but also one to suite ASHP called economi Plus mean 20 at 11.41p and the other 4 at normal rates at 16.31 was 10.97 and 15.60 but has gone up this year not to sure wot gas is but definetely more.
@editor. i have ecodan 8.5kw with 210L preplumb cylinder but i have added 90L gedhill buffer tank and remove the low loss header as i see no point in having 2 mixing point. i had to have buffer tank because i have overlay underfloor heating with 12mm pipe around 84m2 with 4 rads and 3 tower rails with heatmiser room stat to turn on and off witrh weather compensation. i think thats the results above but sense i have been reading on this fourm have learn alot and now trying out weather compensation with all stat turn all the way up and flow turn all the way down runing 24/7 should have result for next month but for some reason my ecodan enegy monitor had not update for a week now, just stop working on controler or melcloud.
OK, time for an update.
The month of February has seen our ASHP use 553.2 kWh and produce 2050, giving a COP of 3.7. During the same period, the solar PV has produced 264.7 kWh. At our current electricity rate of 22p/15p, that's a distinct saving on our previous oil consumption even before solar energy production taken into account.

That’s good @batalto, very, very good. How long are your rates locked in for?

@editor October 2022 on those rates. Then I'll have to assess - hence why I am looking at bigger batteries to try and offset the massive cost increases I'm going to get
