@derek-m Oh Yes,Yes, Yes! I am just having the installation of our shiny New Daikin ASHP completed as I type this and will be reporting back with (I hope) lots of positivenesses in the next few day - the installation has not gone smoothly [more anon] but the Daikin unit is just heating up now. Ambient temp in house at present is an average of 13 degrees C (do all fitters like to work with all windows and doors wide???) Type again soon.

Thank you Toodles, I was getting concerned, I thought that you may have been the one that was shot. 😋

Sunamp Thermino Heat Battery: Part of my installation this last week has been a Sunamp Thermino ePV 210 unit. Someone previously commented that they thought this unit would be a very hot box to touch as it runs at 80 plus degrees C. I can confirm that the unit running in my airing cupboard for the last 4 days or so only exhibits a case temperature of 26 degrees at the maximum on top of the case in a closed environment. Not a great deal of heat to assist in the airing of clothes as it is no more than .75 kW/h heat loss per day . The insulation is extremely good and, so far I am very pleased with the performance; mine is coupled to a Myenergi Eddi as I have 8.1 kWp of solar to help me.
