Hot Water Temp Variation
I have a Stiebel ASHP and recently added a Home Assistant Green, which has been game changing.
Using Home Assistant, i've noticed the Hot Water temperature in the tank is reported varying +/- 5 degrees as per below. This is irrespective of actual use.
I would be very surprised if this is due to heat loss on the foam-insulated tank.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
Could it be that there is a 3 port valve in the circuit and it is not fully closing in either direction? Failure to close fully would allow dissipation of energy from the tank thus lowering the temperature of the stored water. Regards, Toodles.
Toodles, he heats his home with cold draughts and cooks his food with magnets.
