I've just cleaned out my filter gauze on my system. It's approaching the autumn now, I suggest people check theirs before they need the heating. Mine was full of bits

262m2 house in Hampshire

Same issue. I have been advised to fit a filtering system.

@prjohn it really vanishes off pretty quick. I clean mine out every 6 months or so now. At the start it was daily
