ASHP owners - did you apply for planning permission?
In light of the issues raised in this forum about council planning permission - https://renewableheatinghub.co.uk/forums/renewable-heating-air-source-heap-pumps-ashps/vaillant-arotherm-15kw-ashp-problems-with-council/paged/2#post-4587 - I’ve discovered that if your heat pump(s) exceed 0.6m2 in size you need planning permission.
Many large heat pumps will exceed this size - how many ASHP owners have applied for planning permission?

No. By my reckoning we fell within PD so just went ahead.
Retrofitted 11.2kw Mitsubishi Ecodan to new radiators commissioned November 2021.
14 x 500w Monocrystalline solar panels.

Pretty much all single units don't require permission
