Starting to feel like I'm going round in circles ... I swear off the back of one of the Gary does Solar (or linked) videos that there was a point highlighted that not all MPPT applications (algorithms?) are equal with respect to maximising PV performance with / without inbuilt diodes etc activating.

From memory the point was along the lines of a lot of systems only expect to find one maximum point and stop there, however you could have multiple peaks on on a voltage vs power graph?

Anyone able to point me in the right direction? are there better or worse MPPT systems utilised in hybrid inverters for the UK domestic market? or am I best just to stick to finding reviews of the inverters I'm offered?

Thanks in advance!
