@editor - sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I am still not getting email notifications for many of the posts made to threads I am subscribed to. Not the end of the world, I can scan the 'Latest Posts' list, but it is more convenient to have notifications, rather than have to check manually.
Midea 14kW (for now...) ASHP heating both building and DHW
@editor Thank you Mars, I use Larger Text as my default anyway but I am also trying to remember to use the Safari ‘AA’ feature once on a page and ready to scroll down - not as good as a larger font in the first instance though;-) Regards, Toodles.

@cathoderay, thanks for letting me know. I'm actively monitoring the situation and exploring options to enhance the delivery process. It was quite surprising to see the sheer volume of notifications being dispatched every hour during peak site activity. To manage this, I've implemented a "throttling" mechanism for the email notifications. This means they won't be sent out immediately but will instead be staggered, resulting in a delay of about 5-10 minutes before they're dispatched. So far, I haven't observed any errors on the outgoing side, but I'll keep a close eye on it and make further adjustments if necessary, aiming to optimise the delivery of notifications.

As we embrace 2024, our vision is to make this platform the top community for UK homeowners interested in renewable heating and related subjects. We are immensely proud of the supportive environment that all the forum members have helped us create. It's really heartening to see homeowners unite, sharing their experiences and knowledge.
Our humble forums from two years ago have evolved into a valuable knowledge base, addressing specific issues and problems, largely driven by homeowner experiences. This user-generated wisdom often surpasses the advice (or lack of it) from professional installers.
We've already started making changes, as you might have noticed with our new logo. More improvements are on the way, and we value your suggestions. Remember, this community thrives on your contributions, as it's all about homeowners like you. Share your ideas and thoughts and feel free to DM or email me: editor@renewableheatinghub.co.uk
Thank you for being a part of Renewable Heating Hub. Let's make 2024 a landmark year for our community, and please share the site with friends, family and colleagues.

@editor Thank you for all your hard work and help, as an elderly user, find I get too many emails, with the same subject, links in, what have I done wrong? so about 10 emails a day is that right? I am unsure how to start a new subject as suggested, and unsure if I can reply to posts yet, have lots to add when I can. Thanks again West
The forums might look a bit strange for a while because we're getting some backend stuff done to hopefully improve things. So some fonts and sizes might seem weird for a while. Please bear with us while this happens.

Is anyone else finding all the notification emails have no body text (only the topic title in a link), since the update?
Save energy... recycle electrons!
@mjr I’m finding that links often only show what I have previously seen and read - it that your experience? Regards, Toodles.

Posted by: @transparentI'm receiving both types of notifications ok here.
Are you sure? Neither of those seem to contain any text from the body of the post.

Nope, that's different, although this site only works from one device I have, so it may be reading the state from browser cookies.
@mjr please send me an email so I can see. I receive mine with everything that should be in there.
