Valiant Aerotherm Hot Water Heating Status?
So when the heating is running and you go into the app you know because it has that heat icon.
I have water on timer control at the time of the timer it is running, but if you go into the app there is no indication that hot water heating is running, is there any way to tell other then going into the system view and seeing a kw draw OR to the panel and looking at live status?
Also the kw it uses to charge seems wildly different at peak I've seen it running 5.2kwh (10kw model) other times around 1kwh it kinda random, today daytime boost ran at 1kwh while it could have done with running at 5.2kwh
As an extra is there any desktop app where you can monitor what is going on?

If you go into system view on the app it shows flow temperature and you’ll easily see the DHW heating which ramps to become above your DHW set temperature. Yes there’s no led on the box which would be an improvement
When the legionnaires is running it tells you on the top level of the app.

Really hoped the app would show an indicator, asking too much I guess.
On another not when you do a hot water boost how long does it stay on for is it till your turn off or it reaches 100%? Would have been nice when you hit boost you could state for how long.

Boost goes up to your normal set temperature so it depends on how cold it has got. We can see the electricity use profile so know roughly how long it will take, -40mins last time we used it which was on the free electricity spot.

@hcas would love too, apparently I can’t send direct messages as I don’t have 10 approved messages being a newbie here. Maybe you could message me but def interested.
