Solid manhole cover within r290 exclusion zone
Hi
I'm looking to install an exothermic plus 7kw
I seem to just about have space, except that there is a solid metal manhole cover within the exclusion zone. This cover, if removed, goes down to the foul drains.
The manual states "airtight drains" are allowed. This cover has no holes, but I have no idea if it's actually airtight....
Any thoughts?
Please provide photos or model if you can find it in a builders merchants. Even if yours isn’t airtight it might be an easy change.
Someone might recognise it!
2kW + Growatt & 4kW +Sunnyboy PV on south-facing roof Solar thermal. 9.5kWh Givenergy battery with AC3. MVHR. Vaillant 7kW ASHP (very pleased with it) open system operating on WC
