It's not obvious. It is near where you set the date. Go to MENU > SERVICE INFORMATION > DISPLAY and you should find TIME there...
Midea 14kW (for now...) ASHP heating both building and DHW
And relax! I searched for how to do it on a Midea control panel and lo and behold a short video appeared. Look at me!! 😉

Well done!

Cathy - you have just become the 'go to' person in your area for others wanting to know more about heat-pumps...
... preferably before they even commission the initial heat survey!
The best way to learn about the underlying concepts is within a social setting.
A coffee morning or an evening in the pub is a useful environment.
Although @cathoderay has been telling you which buttons to press for your particular system,
it's the concepts which people really need to appreciate.
It was almost five years ago when Ofgem published a report which identified "widespread dearth of public knowledge" on energy matters as being a major factor which prevents us from adopting better products and technologies.
That can't be overcome by Parliament passing legislation,
or by MCS imposing tighter regulations on installers.
To combat Climate Change and overcome Fuel Poverty, it's us ordinary members of the population who need to get involved.
Look at this Heat Pump Event which @ajn9000 put on a fortnight ago.
The village hall was packed out.
About a dozen attendees wore badges to identify them as already having a heat pump.
That evening seminar was in Cornwall, which is implementing energy efficiency measures at a far faster rate than England.
(Note the geographic distinction!)
Please talk to your local Borough/District Councillors and tell them that they need to facilitate similar events in your area.
Point them at the ABC Guide to Heat Pumps which @cathoderay has recently posted here.
Over to you! 🙂

@cathoderay Hi, I have another question for you. When the supplier was here recently i asked him if I could schedule my water heating for the cheaper hours on my tariff. He set up some stuff on my controller but it doesn't appear to work.
I sent him a photo of the settings today, see pic, and he said I have scheduled my heating. I haven't touched it since he left. Can I schedule my hot water on the Baxi? Confused!

Ho hum. It is certainly set to time the heating as shown in the photo, and if he set it up and you haven't touched it since...
What you need to do is go into the schedule menu as shown in your image, then use the arrow keys to select HEAT in Row 1 and use the up or down arrow to change it to DHW. The next column (TEMP) should reflect your set (desired) DHW temp.
Then go to Row 2 and uncheck the tick box (that row is also timing your heating, which you don't want, remember, low and slow, always on).
The OK/back out to the home screen.
By default, Midea heat pumps have DHW heating as the priority (over space heating). If it is on a timer, it will only exercise that authority when it is in a timed ON period and the DHW temp is below the level need to trigger a reheat (by default, 5 degrees below the set (desired) DHW temp).
If you need to force a DHW reheat when the timer has it off, the easiest (or should that be least painful) way to do that it to manually increase the set (desired) DHW temp to a level high enough to trigger a reheat and then manually turn the DHW on (both on the home screen). Then, and don't forget to do this, when it has got to the temp you want, turn off the DHW heating and reset the set (desired) DHW temp to your normal setting. Otherwise you risk getting DHW hotter than you bargained for.

@cathoderay Thank you. He hadn’t changed it to DHW or made the temp 50°.
We would like to boost the hot water during our cheaper times on the tariff and as John and I use DHW at different times of the day.
Does this look better?
Posted by: @cathyem1Does this look better?
That looks fine. You have two periods when DHW heating will come on and take priority over space heating provided the actual DHW has fallen enough to trigger a reheat, 0100-0600 and 0930-1130. Let it run and see what happens!

If the installers got it right, then this forum wouldn't exist.
As it is, we're confident of work for the next half-century. 🙂
