Is this a bad installation and is there something wrong with my Samsung heat pump?
@david999 The reason I sent the graph is because the values are dynamic as the smart control from Homely will optimise moment to moment. By the way, I have sent an article to @editor about balancing radiators and it is hoped this will be published soon, possibly tomorrow. Regards, Toodles.

Balancing is a fundamental task of any system, I've heard so many times things like " the TRVs do that".
I seen UFH in four year old houses never been balanced, circuits not even open, poor heating blamed on the Heat Pump.

TBH, poor outside insulation is the least of the the worries.

@kenbone I’m on it, with a little help. Samsung sent me a couple of manuals so bedtime reading tonight. I’m not a bloke that sits on my hands I love to get into things, keep learning, stay alive. Too many at my age go for newspaper, rolls then sit watching tv all day dozing off, then die. Going to compete with noodles Toodles and see if I can get to 100 😊
Bastid spell checker keeps doing that toodles caught all the other ones though

This is my version of the Samsung setup that I've put together for the company I work for, hope it helps.

Managed to get a copy of that doc but it took a while geez. Great doc.
i read regarding use of plastic pipe since the internal diameter due to use of inserts is smaller. I noticed my installer ran plastic almost entirely but connected copper where it would be visible. I thought for cosmetic reasons but I’m now thinking that it’s because it’s not suitable and would be seen.

@ken-bone Thanks so much for such a clear explanation of the positioning of one or more anti freeze valves. I was planning to have one installed in my return pipe where it runs horizontally beside the wall, but this is not the lowest point. From the horizontal section, my return pipe runs vertically down towards the Samsung heat pump and then there is a very short 'sort of' right angle before entering the casing. The horizontal section is also immediately above the foot that the heat pump sits on. Can you advise if it is still possible to fit an anti freeze valve with this piping arrangement?
@mike-h In the second photo (looking at right hand end) the distance from the wall does not look as great as in the other image. Is there sufficient space to fit A/F valves on the outlet of the pump? Photo of my Daikin ASHP rear face with valves attached. Regards, Toodles.
