What’s the modern take on advised types of insulation?
@jeff I am sorry @jeff if I have misunderstood what you wrote; I certainly did not mean to infer anything, in fact, I am agreeing with your thoughts. I was following up on your writing:
”Also things have moved on over the last few years I feel with perhaps more pragmatism around the fabric first approach which I remember well this forum championing strongly.”
Insulation being added to the fabric of the building is, in my opinion a good idea, whether before, during or after installing a heat pump.
If my writing has offended you in some way, I apologise; no offence was intended and I hope I have not put words in your mouth. Regards, Toodles.
Toodles, heats his home with cold draughts and cooks food with magnets.
Posted by: @jeffHe was one of the more green MPs, with an electric vehicle and I remember he had his house assessed for a heat pump when he was a government minister in 2023.
I suppose Green indeed... 😁
And everybody has their soft spots, some enjoy their fossil fuel cars, others fly.
