@jeff I am sorry @jeff if I have misunderstood what you wrote; I certainly did not mean to infer anything, in fact, I am agreeing with your thoughts. I was following up on your writing:

Insulation being added to the fabric of the building is, in my opinion a good idea, whether before, during or after installing a heat pump.

He was one of the more green MPs, with an electric vehicle and I remember he had his house assessed for a heat pump when he was a government minister in 2023.

I suppose Green indeed... 😁

And everybody has their soft spots, some enjoy their fossil fuel cars, others fly.
