@toodles will you be offering tea, coffee and French patisseries while visitors admire your aspirational renewable kit?

Echoing James' experience. I visited 2 heat pumps a couple of weeks ago. Both visits were very good. We were 4-6 people on each visit. The heat pump owner in both instances was quite knowledgeable.
I'm a big fan of this community-driven initiative. Who better to learn from than a peer who went through the journey some time ago?
What I observed:
- Visitors were very interested in the noise. Still seems to be a concern for people, but during the visit they were quite surprised how silent a heat pump is (the newer models)
- Heat Geek came up during each visit, in a positive manner
- Most people left the visit with a more positive feeling towards heat pumps. There was even a couple who came to look because a neighbour was installing a heat pump and they were concerned about the noise. By the end of the visit, they said "maybe we should also get one"

@toodles have you had any visitors to check out your heat pump?

@hcas that’s very interesting. Did you go inside the home to see the rest of the plant room (HW cylinder, plumbing, etc.)?

@editor Not a single one - I think I have worded my blurb to indicate that I am open to showing people around at a most suitable time and that as retired, they can suggest the best time. No takers as yet though🤨 Toodles.

@toodles Did you get the house signs to use via email?
I think there might be some merit in letting people know that they are in use in their neighborhood.

@bontwoody Yes, and I replied to that email, did the consent form and requested the version with the qr code included. I’m hoping that they might have a laminated version as, if I just print out on paper, it will not last long outside. Toodles.

@toodles That’s the down side of sending them by email. Not everyone has a window to put them in.

@bontwoody I could print out to my own size and try to seal in a poly bag to stop water ingress but this usually looks tatty and has a short life span; I’ll see what they say or do. Regards, Toodles.
