Hi everyone,
Our new Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump was installed yesterday, and all seemed fine. Woke up this morning and looked at the report to see it seems to have turned itself off? The Melcloud app says "the unit failed to respond to the refresh" and shows a graph suggesting it isn't speaking to the system (below). Wondering if anyone has any ideas. We're away so can't physically look at any of it. Has the WiFi connection with the ecodan just been severed, or perhaps it's a power outage/fuse? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

That error message does suggest that it has lost contact with Melcloud. You won't know if the unit is still running until there are boots on the ground or the wifi connection re-establishes.

@abernyte thank you for that. Any idea why it would lose contact, and why it wouldn't reconnect?

Your ideas are good. It could also be that your home internet line has crashed. No way to tell while away.

My internet went down yesterday and my version of that graph looks the same.  It may also do this if the whole system shuts down of course.

Thanks everyone. It mysteriously reappeared at about 3pm, then disappeared again at about 3am...which was the same time it disappeared yesterday! Very odd.

It does look like the heating is working because the room temp goes up.
