Midea HP - how to force it to run at low temperature.

Hello all,

I am running one of the midea clones (10kw "Hyundai") to my full satisfaction. This is a DIY installation with the help of Graham Hendra's video's (many thanks!).

This summer I installed PV and thus have "free" electrical energy available. I have sunny weather at the moment and October is approaching so I wanted to take the opportunity and use the sunny weather to heat up our slab (we have full UFH).

I have set a schedule for the HP to run at 27C between 9am and 6pm. This is interrupted for DHW between 1-3pm. The HP is separated from the UFH with a heat exchanger and the pump for the UFH runs 08:58-13:02 and 14:48-18:02. 

What I am seeing is that the HP heats for some 30-45 minutes in the morning to never switch on for heating again. It does run its DHW cycle though. I noticed that the HP showed an ambient temperature of 27 or so degrees (it is at a sunny spot) so I already raised the max ambient temperature for heating (T4HMAX) to 35C. The return flow temperature that I read does not go above 22C so I guess the HP should see some a demand for heat.

Because we have wooden flooring, I do not want to set too high of an input temperature and start with 25-27 degrees.

Does anyone of you have an idea how I can force my HP to just run at 25, 26, 27 degrees between 9 and 6?
