Grant Aerona3 R32 HPIDI17 performance in low temperatures
That was in the inside room temperature
We were away for three weeks so put the temperature down and hot water off. Despite this, our daily costs were high due solely to the defrosting cycle
Okay understand now. Even though we get defrosting cycles we could reduce them by running the HP at a much lower flow temp. At present we try to run between 25 to 27°c which keeps the house around 19.
We also try to only run during the day.
