Ecodan Holiday mode
I'm going away soon for the first time since having the ASHP fitted, I have DHW set on a timer through the FTC Controller and my room temp set on timers in the MEL Cloud app.
Will either of these override Holiday Mode when it is set?

I turned the timer off on my phone. The heating has not come on, however the DHW has a mind of its own, it came on the morning that we left when it should not have done and despite being in 'Holiday Mode' it came on this evening when the temperature got to 40 degrees, so I've turned the HP off. I should have done this anyway as no sub zero temps are forecast. Annoying as I've just switched to Octopus Flux and was discharging the battery at the peak time. Its not the first time the DHW has heated when it isn't supposed to...

I activated Holiday mode before we left using the wireless thermostat by doing a long press, its activation was confirmed by both the Heating and DHW showing as 'Holiday' in the MELCloud app.

@trbob as per the photo from the ecodan data book it seems there is an option to further activate/de activate heating or dhw in hol mode. page 209 pdf

Thank you for the information, I'll investigate when I return home.

Probably! (Sorry, a bit late, I got logged out by the site yet again.)
I no longer trust MELCloud for holiday control since one time where it decided to set a 24°c heating target. I deactivate all MELCloud timers before activating Holiday Mode on the FTC. I also set it to finish the day BEFORE we intend to arrive home, to give it more than enough time to warm everything back up.
Is it correct that Holiday Mode can only be set for a couple of days? What is the process if one is going on a 2 or 3 week holiday?

There's a full calendar date entry on the FTC5 when the holiday mode is set. I've used it for 2 week holidays. I've not tested to see if there's any limit on the length but I don't remember reading of one.
@mjr Thanks I've just found that feature. I had only looked on the wireless remote for setting Holiday Mode. There it's 72 hours max.
Also it appears, although I might be misinterpreting this, that the feature runs the same settings (i.e. a room temp' of 21c) but at a lower flow temp as opposed to switching everything off for a given period. If that is correct I shall need to look to a different method of not wasting energy whilst the house is unoccupied. Thoughts?

@mjr I’m away now so will have to see what happens come midnight when holiday mode kicks in. No idea re a menu setting for temp so if it doesn’t drop I will have to turn it down via MelCloud.
