are there internal electric heaters ?
Hi chaps ,
reading this ..
https://kronoterm.eu/how-to-set-up-your-heat-pump-for-maximum-comfort-and-minimum-cost/
i saw this bit ..
i know there are lots of different makes of pump , but i wonder , is this a thing that most pumps do , meaning if , as i do , i run my pump at hs temps of 15-16c , i am possibly then using more kw than i would running it at 20c !
that would be an eye opener and no mistake .
regards
robert
As per the screen shot, when my Ecodan is not calling for heat and is effectively 'off', you will see that the flow and return temp' is always at a minimum 20c.
Retrofitted 11.2kw Mitsubishi Ecodan to new radiators commissioned November 2021.
14 x 500w Monocrystalline solar panels.
2 ESS Smile G3 10.1 batteries.
ESS Smile G3 5kw inverter.
Interesting because when my Mitsu is not running I recall typically Phase A shows zero; Phase B 11.2W & Phase C shows 107.44W. I thought it was the control plus the undesirable secondary circulation pump. It doesn't seem much for any electric heater on a 16kW ASHP
