14Kw Mitsubishi Ecodan ASHP
no - not the legionella cycle and yesterday it was back to the previous pattern - dhw being heated to over 60*C without any input from the heat pump. Further digging required might try to give mitsubishi a ring...
Thank you Justinsb, I am now running Advanced Auto Adaptation and am very impressed. It's using low power and no cycling. I extended the cable to the little FTC box and moved it into the living room temporarily. I removed the signal wires from IN1 and switched SW2-1 to off. With SW5-2 On, selecting Room Temperature mode gives Advanced Auto Adaptation. The only con is that as there is now no connection from the existing house thermostats to the FTC, I have to keep the living room thermostat set the same as the FTC thermostat so they switch off at the same time when the room temperature target is reached, otherwise the UFH pump will run unnecessarily, although it doesn't use a lot of power. I now intend to order a Mitsubishi wireless controller and receiver. (£167).
