RE: Help me keep the faith with my air source heat pump installation

By AgentGeorge, 1 day ago

The double panel radiators I’ve seen have a bleed screw on both panels. Usually the nut around the bleed screw can undo allowing it to be replaced. Id take the photo to City Plumbing and show them if ...
RE: Confused by Flow Rates

By Grantmethestrength, 2 days ago

@editor another great episode, but same as @phil-bell I am now going to have a good look at my flow rate, my lowest flow rate I can get out of my Grant Aerona3 is 28l/min but I think this may not be e...
RE: Grant 13kW Aerona3 - issues getting zones to temp

By Grantmethestrength, 2 days ago

I have the same unit and controller and it has been a journey of learning to say the least. After a terrible ECO4 install it has taken nearly 10 months to get the system to the point where it is easy ...

By Crimson, 2 days ago

Unfortunately this is the ONE day this month I can’t even arrange a call due to work commitments at the time. What I’ll do however is ask the other half if the engineer is ok to leave his numbe...

By Batpred, 2 days ago

For the common benefit, a quick update on this. Fogstar initially said they would support the Ginlong/Solis protocol on the Seplos BMS that they sell. We were going to try top have Seplos try to act...
RE: Grant 13kW Aerona3 - issues getting zones to temp

By JamesPa, 2 days ago

That all sounds promising, the right people, who hopefully understand what they are looking at, are finally on the case. Just one thought, if you are offsite when Grant visit perhaps you could consid...
RE: Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS – Why I Chose It and What I’ve Learned So Far

By Batpred, 2 days ago

Some of the circuits in my home are not protected by RCD (which is fairly common, the earth wire was often not even run for ceiling/lighting circuits). I am exploring this topic and whether it contri...
RE: Mixture of copper and plastic CH pipework. Will it be ok, or need changing?

By Bash, 2 days ago

Yes, an elbow is what I should have said. The 22mm copper pipe from the boiler curves slightly into the ceiling and then the push fit elbow connects to the horizontal run of plastic pipe under ...
