Different types of ground source heating systems

Laura Bishop – Ground Source Heat Pump Association

Laura Bishop, chair of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association, explains the different types of ground source heat pump systems (serpentine and slinky coils, water and boreholes) and discusses whether the new government grants for 2022 will be sufficient to cover installation costs. We also asked Laura about whether renewable heating and the transition away from fossil fuel boilers is generally being accepted by the general public in the UK .
