8.4kw System.
Very shaded in January 159kw
February shading improvement but still bad after 2 pm. 275kw.
16kw Samsung TDM ASHP. 8.4kw PV, power optimizers 20×420watt panels 6kw SolarEdge inverter.
6kWp installation (installed last year, so no historical comparisons):
November 2024 - 160kWh
December 2024 - 95.7kWh
January 2025 - 176.5kWh
February 2025 - 214kWh
I was pleasantly surprised that January and February have been an improvement on November. I don't recall November being so dull, nor this year being particularly sunny (so far).
Best day this year was yesterday at 23kWh.
@ianmk13 From other reports, it looks as though January was a rather dull month for most of us solar hunters! 2024 was a total of 6 MWh but 2023 was 6.5 MWh. We have had clouds loathed to move away for months but, this February has beaten the 29 day February of ‘24 by a small margin as we had 196 kWh last year and in one day less, we are heading for near 230 kWh this year. I hope this is going to be a trend - our 8.1 kWp. solar harvester is less than ideally place but we need every Watt we can harvest! Rewards, Toodles.
Toodles, he heats his home with cold draughts and cooks his food with magnets.
From our 6.5kWp array:
2023 | 2024 | 2025 | |
Jan | 151.6 | 158.8 | 110.6 |
Feb | 238.5 | 168.7 | 167.8 |
So it's fairly plain that this year has been somewhat darker than the usual for me.

From our 6.0kWp array. East facing at 5deg pitch. Output generally feels OK for sub-optimal installation. Somerset, SW England
2023 | 2024 | 2025 | |
Jan | 104 | 129 | 110 |
Feb | 160 | 221 | 180 |
Totals:
2022: 5109
2023: 4442 included 15 day outage in June. Losing around 400kwh? Comparison say 4842?
2024: 5135
Installer estimate was 5129pa. Seems bang in line.
Also have additional small 2.2kw array on South facing roof with circa 40 deg pitch. No monitoring until mid 2023

Atchally, my final number was an estimation but now that the sun is almost gone we hit 283kW. Just today was 30kW.
16kw Samsung TDM ASHP. 8.4kw PV, power optimizers 20×420watt panels 6kw SolarEdge inverter.
From our 6.0kWp array. East facing at 5deg pitch. Output generally feels OK for sub-optimal installation. Somerset, SW England.
Cleaned this morning - due to pitch they were fairly green & algae covered.
Interesting to note output today 20.6kwh vs 18.5kwh yesterday. Always difficult to be 100% certain it's like with like day.
Worth noting this is first day exceeded 20kwh since last September. 😱 😱
But also have additional small 2.2kw array on South facing roof with circa 40 deg pitch. Also cleaned but not very dirty and therefore impact minimal. Almost exactly same output today as yesterday. 6.62kwh today vs 6.48 kwh yesterday.
Perhaps useful indicator that cleaning can be useful on low pitch arrays?
