Thanks Mars. I was joking with Ecobubl, they leave all the doors open, so the home is cold. And you are just grateful for any heat when they switch the ASHP on 😊

Mixergy slimline 180L hot water tank installed. But not fully connected. There is an external heat exchange (not shown) for the ASHP. Can also integrate the solar PV. Still requires internet connection. And pipe insulation.

Daikin Altherma 3H HT is 990mm high by 1270mm wide by 460mm deep or 0.578m3. Below the planning regs 0.6m3 limit. It is also one of the quietest ASHPs on the market with a sound pressure of 38 dBA at 3m. And uses R32 refrigerant - which is better for the environment. I have water only in the circuit between the external unit, internal unit and 27L buffer tank.

We are all wired up. But the Daikin is not recognising the Mixergy tank at the moment. More work to do. And tidying up

Ok, so 95% of work completed

And finally the Mixergy tank in the airing cupboard  Note the insulated heat exchanger at the bottom and the control module at the top  Whilst the tank is heating, at the moment it is not from solar PV or the ASHP  Mixergy sent the wrong component for the Daikin  So my engineer will be back Wednesday to fix  Can still schedule and control Mixergy thru the app  

So now we just need to learn how to use it  Interestingly, the recommendation is to treat it like a boiler and schedule it to come on, rather than on all the time  

Time will tell  Happy to answer any questions

Looks like a nice job @julianc.  We schedule our heating to come on and off using the zone thermostats. This works OK and the house seems to warm up quickly enough.
