Whereabouts in the UK are you?
Off grid on the isle of purbeck
2.4kW solar, 15kWh Seplos Mason, Outback power systems 3kW inverter/charger, solid fuel heating with air/air for shoulder months, 10 acres of heathland/woods.
My wife’s house: 1946 3 bed end of terrace in Somerset, ASHP with rads + UFH, triple glazed, retrofit IWI in troublesome rooms, small rear extension.
@myanthony blimey….. I was going to say I could call round. But I’m in south Dorset - about as far away as you can get.
From what I can tell from the original photos, you’re running at a fixed flow temperature of 55 degrees.

Are you intending to help, in which case I will leave it to you to resolve the problems?
@derek-m I’ve done all I can back when the OP posted up originally. If the menu doesn’t match the manual, not sure where we can go from here.

According to the manual a 'Y' strainer should have been installed, probably in the return pipework back to the heat pump. If you are not certain what a 'Y' strainer looks like, just Google Y strainer.
With the heat pump switched off, locate the 'Y' strainer and close any isolation valves so that it can be opened and cleaned. If you are not certain what to do you may need to get someone to help.
Let me know once you have cleaned the strainer and what you found inside.
Looking at the photos I was surprised to see that it has been mounted on wall brackets, which does not comply with the manufacturers instructions, since there should be a space of at least 0.4 metres at the rear of the unit.
Has the installer been paid? If not I would suggest that you refuse to pay until all the problems have been resolved.
@myanthony has the biomass boiler been completely bypassed and removed or is this running as a hybrid system? Just seen that there are still a lot of boiler pellets in your photo.
I've also verified that there must be a Y strainer or some sort of filter on every system. Having said that, this installation is severely bodged, so who knows if they put one in.
Have you tried to contact any other installers near you?

@editor yes I’ve tried all local none answering messages. The pellets have just been lying there since last year. I’m wondering if a normal plumber could help. Would the Y strainer be under that black pipe insulation mabey? There is a filter inside that I opened and the water was clear.
@myanthony not that it makes a huge amount of difference but was the installer MCS-certified?
