I have recently done some work on the correlation between energy demand and OAT, and appear to have made some significant progress (based on one system only) in getting a much improved correlation (useful for modelling/understanding) by taking into account the energy stored in the fabric. Head over to the thread Do setbacks save energy without compromising comfort? if you want to understand more (health warning, its a long thread, the part of interest is towards the end but interspersed with lots else).
Id like to test it on a couple of other of systems if anyone can provide data. I need the following at intervals of no more than 1 hour, preferably more frequently, but no more frequently than every minute:
I need the following at intervals of no less frequently than 1 hour, preferably more frequently, but no more frequently than every minute:
- Flow Temp, Return Temp, Flow rate (or some other means of calculating the energy supplied to the emitters)
- IAT (indoor air temperature, from a separate thermometer or the heat pumps own sensor) , OAT (outdoor air temperature), both with a resolution of a quarter of a degree or better
- Date and Time
- A measure of energy supplied to the heat pump, either from the heat pumps own data (volts and amps , W or kWh) or a separate kWh meter
- A flag (yes/no, 1/0 or whatever) to indicate whether the heating in any given time period is DHW or Space Heating
together with a very brief outline of the system including how it is operated (24x7, with setback etc).
A way of characterising the building is not needed, but it might prove useful, eg a brief textural description of the building.
I need the time sequence data ideally for at least a couple of months where there were a variety of OATs

If anyone has and is willing to share this (excel or csv) then it would be appreciated
4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.
all that data you ask for is in the feeds that are uploaded to heatpumpmonitor.org by multiple systems.
if you were to post this on openenergymonitor forum, the admins (glyn and trystan) would hopefully suggest the best way to get at the data.
