Homely has been installed as part of energy sure trial.
Sadly you get absolutely no data from homely app its just a on off set temps and times and forget thing. Was hoping for at least a SCOP and COP figure out of it sad times.
Hoping that by some magic it would use it's clever data tech what nots to help solve or shed light on issues. Again nope just says error call installer 😕
Well I got it up and running last night and It chucked a load of flow error codes again by the time I woke up 🤣😂😅😢
Also reducing the buffer side circulation pump has changed nothing other than slightly reduce system noise but I have found that it's mainly the pipework in/under/through the wall and the airing cupboard that makes the humming noise....
I have been following @cathoderay and their mega detailed post and it's well above my pay grade sadly but still very interesting.
I've had no contact from NAPIT or MCS still.....
Oh what joys 😁
Any way I'm going to stop updating this post until I actually hear/sort/think of/destroy/set fire/save up enough to fix something.
All the best everyone 🙂 👍
Ok I said I wouldn't continue to add things... I lied
Today I spoke with freedom heat pumps about a batch of faulty motors in the heat pumps luckily or unluckily mine is not affected by them.
But they again confirmed that there is a system issue and not a heat pump issue as my flow rates are not at the required 1 to 1.2m³/h but half that at 0.43 to 0.63m³/h.
Which is causing my flow errors even though my filter is clean
That is all for now
I’ve had pretty much the same issue which was resolved last Wednesday. Ours was traced to filters within the shutoff valves beside the ASHP. There were clogged and the installer didn’t realise the shutoff valves had filters!

I registered as an installer and now have access to the Connect site which shows graphs with more data on. I did get a call from them to ask about my registration. We are self building so I said I was a builder trying it out, which I am for now, and they were OK with that. The free Connect info doesn't have the option to change the dates displayed on the graphs but I think it is about £25 a year to get the Pro upgrade to see more info.

I think it is more accurate to say filters that incorporate a shut off valve (that allows you to open and clean it)! The installer needs to go back to skool.
Midea 14kW (for now...) ASHP heating both building and DHW
@johnnyb There is the Homely Dashboard which provides a fair amount of information; not SCOP but you can bring up COP for the last few weeks or any number of days less than this through the calendar function. There are detail of temperature settings and achieved max and min. Flow temperatures, flow rate, OAT etc. Regards, Toodles.
Toodles, he heats his home with cold draughts and cooks his food with magnets.
@netdonkey yes buddy I have cleaned the Y strainer but you are correct there is another one I may need to clean also but I don't have the correct tool. It's on my list 😅
@johnnyb very interesting I wish they just included it in the app so I could compare data to see if it's actually better running it with homely Vs just pure basic weather compensation.
It seems to be running higher temps than I did with just straight weather comp currently so unsure if it's actually better at the moment
@burtis I and probably others have requested that Homely include the Dashboard in the app; they are however, reluctant to do so as they feel it may result in a rise in calls to the installers from concerned users (over misunderstood data I think.) Regards, Toodles,

Borrowed some big pipe wrenches and spanners let's see if that other filter is clogged....
And see if I can get the flow up above 1.0m³/h if not then it's definitely something else...
Good news everyone, hidden filter behind the isolation valve was absolutely filthy and full of rust and bits on the return.
My bad I just didn't have the tool to undo it like the other one
Bad news is I'm 99% sure it's fitted round the wrong way around 😅 as the basket to catch debris seems to be facing the heat pump and not the flow of the return water unsure if this really matters a huge amount.
Fired up the heating and it peaked at 1.12m³/h so hopefully that will be the end of the flow errors and now I have flow back 😁
Main issue resolved hopefully
Still no contact from NAPIT....
