We’re inviting homeowners from across the UK to make their voices heard by voting for the heat pump brand they believe is the best fit for UK homes. This award is about recognising the manufacturers and units that excel in real-life settings, and you can vote for up to three brands. You might choose the brand installed in your own home or one that you’ve seen deliver reliable performance and comfort in the homes of friends and family.
What makes this award unique and meaningful is that it’s decided purely by homeowner consensus – no panels, no experts – just the genuine, collective experiences of people who live with these systems every day. This is your chance to spotlight the brands that deliver real value where it counts, so encourage your friends and family to vote too!

We’re ultimately looking for brands that consistently demonstrate excellence. When casting your vote, consider the following criteria to select the brands that truly stand out:
- Overall Satisfaction: Think about how happy you are with your heat pump. Does it meet or exceed your expectations, and would you recommend it to others?
- Performance and Efficiency: Reflect on how well the heat pump copes with the UK’s weather. Is it consistent, effective and efficient, even in the coldest months?
- Reliability: A dependable heat pump is essential. Consider whether the brand has delivered minimal issues, breakdowns or faults.
- Customer Support and Service: How responsive has the manufacturer been when you needed support?
- Reputation Among Homeowners: Some brands earn trust through quality and customer satisfaction. Vote for the brand(s) you feel are most respected and trusted in the UK market.
We’ve included all the most well-known brands frequently mentioned on the Renewable Heating Hub forums, along with a few lesser-known names. If you think we’ve missed any, leave a comment below, and we’ll add it to the mix!

i learned about Daikin heat pumps by finding a golf ball with their logo printed on it !
We don’t have a heat pump as yet. I guess one day we’ll need to install one so it pays keeping up to date with the technology, etc.
Good prize – fingers crossed
I chose mine based on their efficiency, reliability, and great customer care 🙂
Great prizes which I could stick on Ebay like everyone else will undoubtedly do.
I have solar panels and they are such an asset and have saved me so much money over the years. A heat pump is too much for my current budget but it’s on my wish list.
We had our heat pump fitted about 8 months ago and the difference is amazing. Our home is warm and our bills have dropped dramatically.
sweet baby
Although I have voted for the Samsung Heat Pump which I have had for 2 trouble free years. It is connected to a Kodiak cylinder by Joules. There customer support is not existing as I have attempted to contact them on 3 seperate occasions by phone and Email, but have never had a reply. Hopefully the reliability continues.
Classic Samsung. Renowned for their lack of support.
Keeping our energy bills down and our homes warm and cosy – your blog is so informative and to be applause
Keep up the great work
Eve products would be super useful and even more so now.
Moving house at the beginning of the new year and about to start our first heat pump project! Wish us luck!
Definitely noticed a marked difference once our heat pump was changed to compensation curve setting (pity we weren’t told about this by the installer/service company for the first 2 years). Saved money & also was more effective when temps were lower outside.
Id like to vote for Bosch… can you list please
Thanks John. They’re listed as part of Worcester Bosch.
As a contractor specializing in heat pump installations, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative these systems can be for homeowners. One of my favorite moments was when I completed an installation for a family who had been struggling with high heating bills for years. The look on their faces when they realized how much they were saving was priceless! A tip I always share with clients is to ensure they choose the right size heat pump for their space—this can make all the difference in efficiency and comfort. It’s incredibly rewarding to help people make the switch to a more sustainable and cost-effective heating solution. Let’s keep spreading the word about the benefits of heat pumps!
Ground source heat pumps at Kensa are manufactured in Cornwall and as a team we are VERY proud of this.
Also, we have helped, and still continue to help people out of fuel poverty and decarbonising homes.
