Laura Bishop explains the difference between ground source heating systems

Laura Bishop – Ground Source Heat Pump Association

Laura Bishop, chair of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association, explains the different types of ground source heat pumps that exist (serpentine and slinky coils, water and boreholes) and discusses whether the new government grants for 2022 will be sufficient to cover installation costs. We also asked Laura about whether heating and the transition away from fossil fuel boilers is generally being accepted by the general public in the UK .

We would like to thank the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) for sponsoring this interview in the Renewing the Conversation series.
