a major obstacle to the correct and optimal application of heat pumps is british standards which allow the mixing and matching of control strategies (on-off vs sensor technology) the latter being the optimal way to run heat pumps.
this is can be expressed as Bundles vs standards, a bundle being controls and heat pumps from one manufacturer. Standards state what has to be installed not how it works…
