I've had a quote proposing 18 x Perlight Delta 425W Total Black Mono panels = 7.65 kWp (at STC) pared with a Huawei 6kW hybrid inverter. Roof is dead on south facing, 40 degree pitch. 

Stated logic, as I understand it, is that a) inverters work more efficiently towards the top end of their power output b) unlikely to see > 6kW often (would be full array operating >78% stated max)

and I guess c) some degradation in array output is anticipated over its lifespan

Please can I ask for thoughts on whether this seems reasonable / is in line with accepted logic?
