                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just looking for advice on required inverter sizing vs hypothetical peak solar array output.</p>
<p>I've had a quote proposing 18 x Perlight Delta 425W Total Black Mono panels = 7.65 kWp (at STC) pared with a Huawei 6kW hybrid inverter. Roof is dead on south facing, 40 degree pitch. </p>
<p>Stated logic, as I understand it, is that a) inverters work more efficiently towards the top end of their power output b) unlikely to see &gt; 6kW often (would be full array operating &gt;78% stated max)</p>
<p>and I guess c) some degradation in array output is anticipated over its lifespan</p>
<p>Please can I ask for thoughts on whether this seems reasonable / is in line with accepted logic? </p>]]></content:encoded>
