The Caleffi ones aren’t, but the inta ones can be. I only just found this out via another forum. I have the Caleffi valves fitted on my system and they’ve been insulated by the installer, i now have to contact the installer and get them to either fitted a valve that can be insulated or to live with emitting precious heat to the outside. These are brass valves the installer has included as an extra safeguard against frost damage.
