Solar PV installed, now time for an ASHP

Agreed, in fact, the company that carried out a full survey earlier this year were very particular about what was and what wasn’t allowed within the MCS guidelines to comply with the BUS grant. I suspect that keeping the old (to them, undersized) tank would have been a no-no. I wanted a small tank but they insisted the tank had to follow some guidelines about number of bedrooms and the minimum tank capacity. I began to feel that this wasn’t a case of installing a system I could use but that of a typical user when I sell the house (no such plans by the way) how much of this was caution to ensure MCS approval I know not.

@derek-m we don't even have a bath, just two showers.
