RE: Melpump Users Anywhere?

By F1p, 2 weeks ago

I had to de-register my current connection and sign up again (UK) on the web app (play store isn't yet available in the UK)   But there are official migration guides on YouTube for the likes of t...
RE: Testing new controls/monitoring for Midea Clone ASHP

By benson, 2 weeks ago

Yikes...I don't even know how you managed to find that 😆 . I also don't know if there's any way I can change the code on the physical device I have? I can approach Mr Sven to see if he has any...
DREI RE: Radiator Sizing Dilemma: Vertical vs Type 33 for Low-Temperature Heat Pump Systems

By DREI, 2 weeks ago

Yep that's it, but the current design would require either tall vertical 2000 or 2200 mm K2 rads, or larger 900 mm tall K3. I was just wondering which ones would be best to choose from a heatin...
Majordennisbloodnok RE: Melpump Users Anywhere?

Thanks, @hcas. When I tried to take a look at Melcloud Home, it told me it's only for aircon units. Do you know of anyone yet with a heat pump who's using the new Mitsi app?

@benson - can you provide a bit more detail, or links, or even links to the code used? Then I can compare to what I use, to see if I can spot any differences.

They are on my Midea unit. I wonder if your more recent unit is different? Can you remind of the end to end details of how you connect to your heat pump? My auto-adapt script doesn't turn the unit of...
Transparent RE: Buying large amp bidirectional RCD and RCBO

By Transparent, 2 weeks ago

There won't be many RCBOs with a 100mA trip rating because that's stipulated for fire protection, rather than human safety. However, Proteus do manufacture a 63A rated Type-A RCBO here in the UK. A...

Thanks everyone for tagging me in here. Havenwise is indeed aware of future / planned changes to Mitsubishi's Melcloud (obviously!). And rest assured we're working on various options to ensure Havenwi...
DREI RE: Radiator Sizing Dilemma: Vertical vs Type 33 for Low-Temperature Heat Pump Systems

By DREI, 2 weeks ago

I guess you didn't see my original post and the article 😋 😉. I have a pretty accurate maths formula that can churn out the real radiator W output, using desired room temperature...

@drei Sorry I think I understand but just to check.... Taking the kitchen as an example are you saying that the current actual loss is 1991 W and at 50C flow temp the current rads would output 1294 W...
